Organization Description:

Multiplied By One is a nonprofit serving those with complex trauma (CPTSD), all dissociative disorders, and loved ones. Our services include online support groups, a magazine on trauma and dissociative disorders, a therapist directory, and Pocket Advocate app.

Support Group Host (Multiple Positions Available)

Those with experience in the mental health field, personal lived experience, or group leadership experience are encouraged to apply as a support group host. This is a unique opportunity for students seeking clinical licensure to work with people living with dissociative disorders, a population that is often neglected in mental health curriculums.

A single group is a commitment to approximately 90 minutes per week with options for replacements when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate students pursuing clinical liscensure
Peer support specialists or Recovery Coaches
Clinical social workers (LCSW, LMSW)
Mental health counselors (LPC, LMHC)
Marriage and family therapists (LMFT)
Clinical psychologists (PsyD)
Those with related qualifications via experience

Requirements

Advocates on Call

For an upcoming program, the advocates on call will respond to emails and a phone line to answer questions about dissociative disorders. Applicants must hold more extensive knowledge of dissociative disorders and preferably hold one of the qualifications listed below.

The time commitment is adaptable according to what volunteers can offer.

Event planning and fundraising include awareness events. Those with an interest in assisting are welcome to apply.

Marketing Communications

In the role of Marketing and Communications, you will research potential clients, create contact lists, do outreach, and write promotional content. You will work with key members of the Multiplied By One organization, attend meetings, coordinate, and learn about the services you will promote.

We request a time commitment of 4 or 5 hours per week.

Moderators on Mighty Networks

Support group members access different spaces in Mighty Networks depending on their categories. Moderators are requested to oversee these spaces and ensure security and member support.

The time commitment involves checking in daily to review any needs or issues.
