Meet the Changemakers Impacting Our Community

The ChangeMakers at Multiplied By One Org give their time, insight and interest in contributing to making a difference for those with trauma, dissociative disorders, and loved ones. They support our community the world over by hosting support groups, seeking resources, and overseeing member and program needs.

Apathy

DID Group Host, President

Apathy is a wise source of advice, and they have experience in counselling youth groups, or with marriage counselling in their community. With a combination of a practical and insightful approach, Apathy is a helpful and empathetic team member. They host the Tuesday DID group.

Birdie

Assistant Coordinator

Birdie is in BC, Canada, an advocate for disability rights, and studying for their Bachelors in English with a side-focus in sociology. Birdie is an Assistant Coordinator and ensures member needs are met via email communication and tending to other tasks in support of the Executive Director.

ByzWhale

DID and Replacement Group Host

ByzWhale lives in New York. With a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Human Services, they have ten years experience working with those with mental illness, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities. BizWhale offers regular support to the Monday DID/OSDD group, and other groups as able.

Cai

DID Group Host

Cai has a master’s degree in Child and Youth Care and is currently being further educated in the field of Psychology. Located in British Columbia, Cai wishes to become a clinical counsellor and provide services to marginalized communities within BC. 

Cameron S

DID Group Host

Cameron is in Canada, and is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology then going to pursue a master’s degree in counselling psychology. He is passionate about supporting mental health and hosts the DID Thursday group.

Deb

Organized Extreme Abuse Group Host

Deb has a background in early childhood education and parent education in the USA, and she has raised several children with her partner. She is a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach with several years of experience working with intimate partner betrayal trauma, addiction recovery, and survivors of SRA/MC/OA.

Hera

Depersonalization Derealization Group Host

Hera believes in the power of empathy, mindfulness, and simply showing up for others while creating safe and inclusive spaces by leading DPDR and DID support groups for Multiplied By One. Hera also organizes educational workshops for single mothers facing poverty, supporting recreational activities for kids with autism, and assembling harm reduction kits for the homeless. A background in Neuroscience and Buddhist Psychology from the University of Toronto drives Hera’s commitment to making mental health and well-being a priority.

Kim

Member Safety Committee & Internship Supervision

Kim is a Social Worker in the USA with 23 years of professional experience, an author of a children’s book on coping with trauma, and a solid ally to this community. They lead the Member Safety Committee and supervise internships.

Kimberly

CPTSD and Loved Ones Group Host

Kimberly has an undergraduate degree in environmental science, which she has since left to seed to pursue bridging the gap of quality mental health support. As an ally, she facilitates support groups and volunteers on crisis lines. 

Krystal

DID and DPDR Group Host

Krystal is a Licensed Practical Nurse from Kansas, USA. While not currently practicing as an LPN, they are focused on their own healing and on their son. They love to listen to and support others as they go through this journey together called life. Krystal and their system hosts the DID Thursday group, as well as supports via replacements to other categories.

Luca

Loved Ones and CPTSD Group Host

Luca is in Canada as an international student from Brazil. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and pursuing Clinical Graduate Studies, Luca supports the Loved Ones Mondays, and the CPTSD Sundays groups.

Melissa

Founder & Director, Group Host & Coordinator, Magazine, Websites & SEO, App, Directory, Admin & Management

As the founder, Melissa is in Delta, BC, Canada, and is trained in peer support, having led groups for youth and adults since 2015. She hosts support groups for CPTSD, DPDR, RTS, OEA, and DID. Melissa created the magazine, built the websites, leads member support, concept-created the app and oversees development, and is in charge of overall department management.

Mopple

DID Group Host & Community Support

Mopple supports the Dissociative Identities category from the United Kingdom via hosting support groups, moderating chat forums, and coordinating with other changemakers. They are training to be a Trauma Recovery Coach and earning their Clinical Psychology degree.

Music Rainbow

DID & T.I.A.R. Group Host

Music Rainbow holds a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in social work, a background in music, college and graduate level music and music therapy classes, and a PhD in surviving. They’ve worked with individuals and groups who are impacted by trauma and addictions and provided psycho-education to help raise awareness about the 3rd wave of the opioid epidemic. Music Rainbow hosts the Sunday evening DID, and the Tuesday DID & T.I.A.R. groups.

Nox

Community Moderator, Event Planner, & Group Host

Nox is passionate about helping the community grow and stay safe because this community has helped them grow and learn. Nox is a voracious reader and skilled artist, Nox is also a compassionate and encouraging listener. Nox is passionate about helping others find their best path forward.

Reina

CPTSD Group Host

Reina is pursuing an undergraduate degree in BC, Canada, with the goal of getting a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She currently hosts the Sunday CPTSD group to provide a safe space for everyone.

Ashleigh

DID Group Host

Ashleigh has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Family & Child Psychology. She works as an Assistant Psychologist in adult mental health, and has previously worked with Looked After Children and their families. She hosts the Sunday DID group and is dedicated to raising awareness of and reducing stigma about the disorder. She utilizes a wide range of therapies and has conducted research on trauma and post-traumatic symptoms.

Cameron

Religious Trauma Group Host

Cameron is currently studying for a bachelors in psychology with focus on mental health, theocratic/theology studies, and trauma care. After getting their degree they will be pursing a Masters in Counselling with a specialization in trauma, mainly PTSD and CPTSD. They enjoy and find fulfillment in helping others and are dedicated to creating a safe, healthy and positive environment for everyone.

Delta

Group Host, Magazine, Member outreach

With an education and career in bioinformatics, Delta contributes to research and writing for Real Eyez Nation Magazine, hosts support groups, and assists with general management and with member communications. Delta adds to the Multiplied By One Org team from the USA with their passion and heart for this cause and its people.

CPTSD Group Host

Jenn has an undergraduate degree in psychology and is in Alberta, Canada. As an ally to this community with an interest in furthering our cause, Jenn ensures a welcome space to connect in the CPTSD Wednesday group.

Jess+

Replacement Group Host

Jess+ is a behavioural health registered nurse based in Maryland, USA, working in a facility specializing in eating disorders and trauma. They assist patients with crisis support, coping skills development, and use a trauma-informed approach centred on safety, empowerment, warmth, and compassion. Jess+ is passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where individuals feel free to come as they are. They plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work to specialize in CPTSD and dissociative disorders.

Kat

DID Group Host and Human Resources

Kat is a business champion with years of experience in HR recruitment in the USA. She assists with ideas on outreach, with organizational advice and hosts the Tuesday DID group.

Kynautica

Community Moderator & Group Host

Kynautica is a community moderator & group host. They are passionate about inclusivity & diversity, & enjoy learning about & engaging with folks from all walks of life. They adore the arts & love creating & consuming all kinds of music, visual art, & more. Kynautica has travelled all over the U.S. & landed in Minnesota, where they’ve begun a local grassroots organization called Minnesota Plurals. They plan to pursue schooling for social work in hopes of continuing their advocacy & helping folks, especially within marginalized communities.

M

Member Safety Committee & Training Evaluations

The Medley System (M) is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. They are a replacement host for various group days. M offers valuable insight, assists with host training evaluations, and group or event planning, and is part of the Member Safety Committee.

Rainbow

Group Host, Magazine, Directory

Rainbow is our longest-standing volunteer and began with hosting groups and later assisting with the magazine and the therapist directory intake. They are a clinical social worker in the USA and contribute to a welcoming feeling of home for the community.

Seraphima

Depersonalization & Derealization Group Host

Seraphima, originally from London, UK, is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in the US. She hosts the Tuesday DPDR group and is dedicated to raising awareness about the disorder while providing a safe and supportive space for those affected by it.
